Technician on Tour
Prior to opening MR Guitar Service, I toured the world as a guitar, bass, and backline technician for a few of rock’s biggest bands: Everclear, Five Finger Death Punch, Steel Panther, Buckcherry, Cherri Bomb, P.O.D., Brian Kahanek, Brother Clyde (Featuring Billy Ray Cyrus), Roger Fisher (of Heart), and many more. I’ve done guitar and production work in recording studios, for music videos, films, video games like Guitar Hero II, and for TV shows like American Idol, America’s Got Talent, The George Lopez Show, and Showtime’s hit series Weeds.

Other Experience
Before all the touring, I worked in Distribution, Marketing, & Artist Relations for some of the top guitar, amplifier, and pickup manufacturers in the business (EMG Pickups, ESP Guitars, VHT Amps, Diamond Amps, and DBZ Guitars.) All the while, I was still doing guitar repairs on the side. Prior to that I worked at Seattle area shops Mills Music and Band Aid Music in the guitar department doing sales and repairs, and played in many local and regional touring bands.
I’ve spent over 35 years working with guitars in the music business, and I believe every player deserves to have their instrument set up to play to its optimum level of performance. My goal is to make your guitar play better than it ever has, so you’re more motivated to play and create music. Don’t settle for ‘just okay’. MR Guitar Service will bring out the best in your guitar.
